Hi, We have our 2024 flu vaccines in stock. We have set up some flu clinics in April for starters. There are no flu clinics on Mondays, as that’s our busiest day already (as you can imagine) . To book into the flu clinic please just phone us 033478848.
***If you’re already coming in to see your doctor or nurse for something else, they may be able to offer you a flu vaccination while you are here, please just ask the nurse/doctor at the time, to save you making two trips in to see us.
For the 2024 flu season, the vaccine is funded for everyone 65 years old and over
It is also funded for people under 65 who are most at risk of becoming very sick from flu, such as people:
- with long-term conditions (like asthma, diabetes or cardiovascular disease)
- with reduced immune function
- who are pregnant
- with specific mental health conditions or addiction issues
- 4 years old and under who have been hospitalised for respiratory illness or have a history of significant respiratory illness.
If you usually pay for your flu vaccination, they will be $35 for over 18 years, and $30 for 12-18 years.
