Influenza

FLU VACCINATION- updated 22.2.2021

This year the over 65 year olds will be vaccinated FIRST for the seasonal flu with the  vaccinations expected to start from around April 14th. We intend to run carpark “drive-through” clinics like we did last year to avoid waiting in the waiting area. Only this age group will be vaccinated to start with, as we will only be able to get supplies for them. For this age group, it is important to be vaccinated early in the season as there needs to be 1 month between the flu vaccine and the covid vaccine (expected mid-year for the over 65’s).  ** *Other age groups and criteria will be added when advice and stock is received.

Eligibility criteria for FREE seasonal influenza vaccination for 2021:
